Accommodations at Glen Eyrie

Where We Stay

The Glen Eyrie Conference Center is a bit difficult to describe... but we find it ideal for one of our Retreat Events.

The property feels secluded; the Center maintains a guarded gate.  We feel comfortable letting our kids run free on the lawns and fields.

The rolling open spaces, tall spruce and fir, and the backdrop of rugged rock makes for simply spectacular space.  At some 6,000 feet above sea level, some will want to take it a little easy as you acclimate.

Across the property are nearly a dozen buildings in which we work, sleep and play.  A considerable range of sleeping rooms are available from historic, premium rooms to bunk bed options with appropriately different charges.

Overall, the rooms are simple--which fits the atmosphere of the Retreat.  Rooms are assigned on a first come first served basis, as well as a need to fit everyone in to different-sized rooms.  Every effort is made to accommodate special requests.  Most lodges have common kitchens with refrigerators and microwaves; there are neither televisions nor mini-fridges in the rooms. Many of us bring coolers for snacks or special dietary items.

The Glen Eyrie staff provide our meals, snack breaks, and a few late morning breakfasts for late risers.  The food is great, but this is not a five star resort.  Think more along the lines of healthy and basic.

Our group has many dietary requirements; most of these are met with great skill, but some are simply beyond a group meal situation.  You may need to bring your own items to supplement the menus.  We have a wonderful team of volunteers that works with each family's dietary needs, and with the Kitchen to meet nearly everyone's needs.
