A completely volunteer led organization, PG Retreat thanks you for considering a contribution. In 2011, we helped 12 families with a total of $7,500 awarded in scholarships!
In 2012, we helped 10 families with a total of $11,504 awarded in scholarships! ...And, including donations to the general operating fund of PGR, donations last year totaled to 16,641.45. Outstanding.
While ANY amount is helpful, here is an idea of what specific donations can fund:
$2000 -- full scholarship for a family of four flying from the east coast.
$1500 -- cost of Zome tent.
$1000 -- travel, room & board for an astrophysicist.
$500 -- scholarship for a young adult away at college and struggling to be independent.
$400 -- Glo-sticks for the dance
$250 -- sponsorship of a local speaker
$100 -- printing the nametags with schedule
$50 -- purchase of box of decorative duct tape for common space
$25 -- purchase of board game, like Swish or Munchkin
Donations have opened for the 2013 Retreat.
You may contribute to the general operating fund of PGR, or to the Betty Maxwell Scholarship fund, which reduces the cost of attendance to the annual retreat for families who need assistance.
PGR operates under the auspices of the Colorado Nonprofit Development Corporation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and as such your donation will be tax deductible. You will receive an email confirmation for your donations, and a mailed confirmation for any donation over $250 from the CNDC.
